The Broward County Commission approved a weekend gate fee waiver on Sunday, November 8, 2026, for everyone, in honor of veterans. Gate entry to Quiet Waters and the other regional parks that charge it is free that day.
The waiver covers the gate fee only, not attractions like Ski Rixen or rentals. Veterans also get a $30 November camping rate at Quiet Waters (per site, per night); ask the park office at 954-357-5100.
