Picnic Shelters and Party Rentals
Quiet Waters is one of north Broward's favorite places for a birthday party or a company picnic. Shelters from small gazebos to extra-large pavilions are spread through the park, near the lakes, the playground and Splash Adventure, and you can book them by the day.
What's here
- Picnic shelters and gazebos in several sizes.
- Picnic tables and charcoal grills.
- Funbrellas with tables beside Splash Adventure.
- Open picnic areas first come, first served.
Good to know
Reserve online at Broward's WebTrac (search Quiet Waters Park, facility type Shelter) or call the park office at 954-357-5100. Unreserved shelters are first come, first served.

Which size?
Small shelters and gazebos suit a family gathering of a couple of dozen; medium and large shelters handle most birthday parties and reunions; the extra-large pavilions are for company picnics and church groups of a hundred or more. Capacities vary by shelter, and WebTrac lists each one with its capacity, so check before you book. For a kids' party in summer, a funbrella next to Splash Adventure keeps the cake close to the water.
Cancellations and changes
Cancel six or more days ahead for a full refund; five days or less, there's no refund. You can transfer a reservation once, at least five days before the date. Card refunds take about five business days; cash and check refunds come by county check in six to eight weeks.
Party rules and tips
- Beer and wine only in designated areas; no liquor, no glass.
- No polystyrene, confetti, glitter or sky lanterns.
- Bounce houses and other outside vendors must be approved by the park; ask when you book.
- Charcoal fires only in the grills.
Arrive early to set up, bring tablecloths with clips (it's breezy by the lakes), and have a plan for summer thunderstorms. Remind guests about the $3 weekend gate fee, or carpool: a car with nine or more people pays $20.
