  • Eagle's Nest playground and other play areas.

Good to know

The back nine of the disc golf course has closed in past years from mid-January through March while the Renaissance Festival is set up and running. Bring your own discs; there are no rentals.

Disc golf

The course, listed on UDisc as Silent Lake Disc Golf at Quiet Waters, has 18 holes with concrete tee pads and DISCatcher baskets. Fairways run through open grass and between stands of trees along the lakes, with water in play on several holes, so bring a spare disc or a retriever. It takes about two hours and covers around two miles. It's free; the weekend gate fee is the only cost.

Play early on weekends to stay ahead of groups, and check UDisc for any holes closed for events.

Basketball

The basketball courts near the north side of the park are first come, first served during park hours, and they draw pickup games on weekend mornings and after school. Bring your own ball.

Volleyball and horseshoes

Sand volleyball courts and horseshoe pits are scattered near the picnic areas and the campground. Campers can borrow balls and horseshoes from the park office for free; day visitors should bring their own.

Playgrounds

The park's Eagle's Nest playground and smaller play areas sit near the shelters, so a picnic and a playground are never far apart. For water play, head to Splash Adventure when it's open.
